As we enter this holy season of Advent and Christmas, we invite you and your family to join us in preparing our hearts to welcome the Lord. From parish missions and prayer to family activities and festive celebrations, there are many opportunities to grow in faith and rejoice together.

We also encourage you to invite others—friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family members who may be looking for a way back to church or simply need a place of hope this season. All are welcome at St. Mary’s.

Second Week of Advent

Pancake Breakfast with St. Nick
December 7 · After 7:30 AM & 9:30 AM Masses

Enjoy breakfast, crafts, and photos with St. Nick in the School Cafeteria. A joyful morning hosted by our Women’s Ministry!

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
Monday, December 8 · 8:15 AM & 5:30 PM

Celebrate the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of the United States. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Join us for Mass and seek Our Lady’s intercession as we prepare to welcome her Son.

Parish Advent Mission
December 12 (5:30 PM) & December 13 (8:00 AM)

Deepen your preparation for Christmas through our parish Advent Mission, a two-part retreat experience of prayer, reflection, and fellowship. Learn more and register here .

Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas. Come honor the Mother of God as we entrust our parish and families to her loving care.

Third Week of Advent

Las Posadas
Wednesday, December 17 · 6:30 PM

Journey with Mary and Joseph around campus, recalling their search for shelter. End in the O’Reilly Building for hot chocolate and cookies.

St. Mary Catholic School Christmas Program
Thursday, December 18 · 6:30 PM · Pittenger Fine Arts Center

Enjoy music from our students and the middle school band. Join us for a joyful celebration of song and Christmas cheer!

Fourth Week of Advent

Decorate the Church
December 23 · 9:00 AM – Noon

Join fellow parishioners in preparing the church for Christmas. All are welcome to help beautify our worship space for the Nativity of the Lord.

Advent Penance Service
December 23 · 6:00 PM – Until Completed

Prepare your heart by receiving the Lord’s mercy in confession. Several priests will be available and will remain until every penitent has been heard.

Christmas Eve

Mass for the Vigil of Christmas
4:30 PM

Join us as we await the birth of Our Lord. The Christmas Children’s Choir will sing at this joyful family Mass.

First Vespers of the Nativity of the Lord
11:00 PM

Evening Prayer of the Church as we officially begin celebrating the Nativity of Christ. Psalms and Scripture prepare our hearts for Midnight Mass.

Singing of Christmas Carols
11:30 PM

Join in singing beloved Christmas hymns as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Christmas Day

Solemn Christmas Mass During the Night (Midnight Mass)
12:00 AM

Celebrate the Nativity of the Lord at this traditional candlelit Mass. The statue of the Christ-Child will be placed in the Crèche during the liturgy.

Office of Readings & Lauds
8:30 AM

Begin Christmas Day with the Liturgy of the Hours, joining the Church around the world in morning prayer.

Mass of Christmas Day
9:30 AM

A joyful morning Mass celebrating the birth of our Savior. All are welcome!

Feast of the Holy Family

Celebrate Jesus, Mary, and Joseph as the model of perfect love and unity. Pray with us for all families, especially those in our parish community.

New Year’s Eve & Day

Vigil Mass – Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

End the year by entrusting it to Mary, Mother of God. Begin the new year with grace and peace.

Holy Hour & Office of Readings

Ring in the New Year with prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, including the Office of Readings as we welcome 2026.

Mass – Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God
January 1 · 9:30 AM

Begin the year with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, asking Mary’s intercession for the year ahead.

Solemnity of the Epiphany

Celebrate the arrival of the Wise Men as they adore the newborn King. Bring a friend to Mass today and join us afterward for fellowship and King Cake following the 9:30 AM Mass.
